Field Test Engineer

About the role

MOTOR Ai is seeking a Field Test Engineer to test automated vehicles on public roads and in controlled environments. The role involves preparing test sessions, triaging findings, and creating test plans to support the development of Level 4 autonomous driving technology.

Responsibilities

• Test automated vehicles on public roads and in controlled areas, including manoeuvres, edge cases and regression checks after new software releases
• Prepare test sessions including software release, vehicle status, and data recording
• Turn logs and observations into structured reports
• Triage findings, identify root causes and hand them over as clear, reproducible tickets
• Create test plans and test cases, keep requirements traceable and check that they are testable
• Help improve testing processes, tooling and automation using AI tools
