Staff Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Staff QA Engineer will own product-level quality assurance for post-quantum cryptography hardware acceleration products. This role involves defining system test plans, building automated QA infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The position serves as the final line of defense before release, ensuring that hardware, firmware, and cryptographic APIs meet rigorous quality and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute system-level test plans for FPGA-based cryptographic products including functional, performance, stress, and stability testing.
• Build and maintain automated QA infrastructure such as regression suites, hardware-in-the-loop test benches, and CI integration.
• Execute standards-based compliance test campaigns including NIST ACVP/CAVP, FIPS 140-3, and CNSA 2.0 checklists.
• Run interoperability testing against protocol stacks and customer-representative configurations.
• Own defect tracking, triage, and the definition of release-qualification criteria for every product release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
