About the role
Anduril is seeking a founding Site Reliability Engineer to support the development of next-generation wargaming facilities for military simulations. You will design, build, and operate the infrastructure that ensures simulation software remains stable, performant, and trustworthy. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining simulation stacks, managing infrastructure, and implementing robust testing processes to prevent system failures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the simulation software stack including installation, configuration, and version management.
- Own the underlying infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, and environment configuration.
- Build and maintain a post-release test suite to automate regression and smoke-testing.
- Forecast, diagnose, and eliminate failure modes to drive permanent system resolution.
- Partner with development teams to review reliability risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor overall system health and triage issues within the simulation environment.
- Document operational knowledge including runbooks, known issues, and configuration details.
