Senior Software Engineer - React Native - Consumer

About the role

The Consumer Mobile team at Kraken builds the interface used by millions to interact with their money, primarily using React Native. This role involves end-to-end feature ownership, partnering with Product and Design to create intuitive financial experiences, and contributing to the development of a new app specifically for Asian markets. Engineers in this role are expected to solve complex technical challenges while maintaining a strong focus on product outcomes and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and own high-quality React Native features end to end, from solution design through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape responsive and trustworthy financial experiences.
• Work with APIs and real-time data, making decisions on state management, performance, and architecture.
• Raise the product-engineering bar through technical discussions, code reviews, and strong product ownership.
• Act as a subject-matter guide on regional UX, design expectations, and technical constraints for Asian markets.
