About the role
Wandelbots is seeking a System Software Engineer to join the Simulation team and lead the infrastructure and operational foundations of the NOVA platform. You will focus on productizing simulation technologies, including Gaussian Splatting and NVIDIA Omniverse-based streaming, by standardizing deployments and creating reproducible, self-service workflows. This role involves close collaboration with the infrastructure team to manage GPU workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate GPU infrastructure including NVIDIA GPU Operator, device plugins, and driver lifecycle.
- Integrate simulation workloads into shared Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
- Design scheduling and autoscaling for interactive streaming sessions and compute-intensive Gaussian Splatting jobs.
- Manage the container and image lifecycle for CUDA and NGC-based workloads.
- Establish the platform as an internal standard through self-service workflows, templates, and documentation.
- Prepare solutions for external operation by partners and customers through versioned releases and actionable diagnostics.
- Define simulation-specific security and access models including RBAC, SSO, and tenant boundaries.
