Applied AI Application Engineer

About the role

The Binance Accelerator Program is a 3-6 month internship designed for early career talent to gain firsthand experience in the digital assets space. As an Applied AI Agent Engineer intern, you will work alongside full-time engineers on agent workflows, tool integrations, backend services, and AI system architecture. You will own deliverables, run experiments, and ship code that impacts production systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of AI agent workflows and LLM-powered application components
• Build and test prompt strategies, retrieval flows, tool-use logic, orchestration patterns, and backend integrations
• Assist in defining evaluation metrics, running benchmarks, and analyzing failure cases
• Improve system performance across quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development and problem-solving
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to understand how production AI systems are designed, deployed, and improved
• Contribute to backend services, APIs, internal tools, or lightweight user interfaces when needed
