Senior People Ops Manager (International)

About the role

Photoroom is seeking a Senior People Operations Manager to own and improve the systems, processes, and operational foundations of the People function across international markets. This role involves managing payroll, HRIS, compliance, benefits, and the employee lifecycle while leveraging automation and AI to build scalable, self-service workflows. You will report to the VP of People and act as a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping the company's operating model.

Responsibilities

• Own and run monthly payroll for France and Europe, and twice-monthly US payroll.
• Maintain French statutory obligations, HR compliance, and operational administration of the CSE.
• Manage employment contracts, offer letters, and standard HR documentation.
• Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle administration including onboarding, offboarding, and immigration.
• Administer benefits and manage providers across France, Europe, and the US.
• Configure and evolve the HRIS to ensure data quality and process automation.
