IT & Business Systems Manager

About the role

DataGrail is seeking an IT & Business Systems Manager to independently own and evolve the company's IT operations, endpoints, and business systems. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this role will transition the IT function from reactive support to an automated, self-service model while partnering with Security to ensure ISO compliance. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for technology support and play a hands-on role in executing security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own IT and business systems operations for the remote workforce, including endpoint management, identity, and SaaS application lifecycle.
• Deliver hands-on technical support and set standards for first-call resolution.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for devices and accounts.
• Partner with Security to build and maintain access controls, endpoint policies, and audit trails for ISO compliance.
• Execute day-to-day security workstreams such as tooling rollouts and access reviews.
• Develop automation and self-service tooling to reduce manual ticket volume.
• Administer the Apple-based fleet, including MDM policy and hardware lifecycle management.
• Manage vendor relationships and SaaS vendor management processes.
