About the role

As a software engineer on the UK engineering team, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance libraries and products for national security customers. You will work closely with product managers and customers to translate requirements into technical solutions and participate in the full software development lifecycle from incubation to production. The role involves a mix of field work integrating with customer platforms and office-based product development.

Responsibilities

  • Help to design, develop, and optimize high-performance libraries, modules, and products, through from incubation all the way to production
  • Write, test, and debug efficient modern C++ code for complex software solutions with the help of AI tooling
  • Work closely with product managers and customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Contribute to build automation, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines, as needed
  • Build software solutions for autonomous capabilities across air, land, sea, and space
