About the role

IMT Mines Alès is seeking a Maître de conférences to contribute to teaching, research, and technological transfer within the Civil Engineering and Sustainable Building department. The role involves delivering academic instruction, conducting research on porous media and construction materials, and fostering collaborations with industrial and academic partners. The successful candidate will work within the C2MA research center and the LMGC laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in civil engineering and sustainable building
• Supervise student projects and provide academic tutoring
• Conduct research on the transport of fluids, chemical reactivity, and mechanics of porous materials
• Develop numerical modeling and experimental characterization of construction materials
• Secure research contracts and manage industrial partnerships
• Participate in recruitment juries and promotional activities for the engineering program
