About the role

IMT Mines Alès is seeking a Maître de Conférences to join the C2MA research center and the LMGC laboratory. The role involves teaching, research, and technological transfer in the fields of civil engineering, construction materials, and structural calculation. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of low-carbon cementitious matrices and foster collaborations with industrial and academic partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in civil engineering and structural calculation.
• Supervise student projects and tutor students within the Civil Engineering and Sustainable Building department.
• Conduct research within the Divided Media axis of the LMGC laboratory, focusing on low-carbon cementitious materials.
• Manage experimental characterization of cementitious materials and contribute to the management of the Civil Engineering platform.
• Secure research contracts with industrial and academic partners and manage project objectives.
• Support the school's incubator and assist companies in technological development and spin-off creation.
