Director of Developer Experience - Platform Engineering

About the role

Doctolib is seeking a Director of Developer Experience to lead the new AI Developer Experience team. You will build the tooling and workflows that enable AI agents and engineers to test, review, ship, and monitor code reliably. This role involves scaling engineering output while maintaining high quality and control standards.

Responsibilities

• Build tools and workflows that allow agents to write, test, review and merge code including evaluation and security controls.
• Own testing and feedback infrastructure for the monolith and satellite services.
• Manage developer productivity measurement including DORA metrics and autonomous change rates.
• Lead the inner-loop experience including local and remote environments, onboarding, and editor integration.
• Build and organise the team, developing agentic skills internally as AI adoption becomes a permanent capability.
• Partner with Product Engineering and Product Management to drive adoption of developer tools.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Developer Experience, Developer Productivity, or Build/CI organisations serving 300+ engineers
• 5+ years of experience as a manager of managers
