Senior Pre-Sales Engineer

About the role

Deepgram is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to lead technical discovery, design solution paths, and drive adoption for strategic accounts across the APAC region. This role bridges the gap between sales and engineering by managing complex technical evaluations, executing proofs of concept, and advising on architecture for voice AI solutions. You will partner with account executives throughout the customer lifecycle to ensure successful production launches and long-term expansion.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery for strategic opportunities and map business goals to measurable success criteria.
• Design, scope, and execute proofs of concept to prove value and land technical wins.
• Build lightweight prototypes, sample integrations, and demos using company SDKs and APIs.
• Advise on architecture for accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost across cloud and self-hosted environments.
• Manage security and compliance requirements for various APAC regional privacy acts.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to triage issues and unblock customers.
• Create reusable technical assets such as reference architectures, runbooks, and field guides.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years in Solutions Engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role focused on pre-sales
• Professional software engineering experience in at least one language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Rust
