Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Forward Deployed Engineers at Tacto bridge the gap between generic software and the complex, unique realities of industrial procurement. You will work directly within customer environments to build data pipelines, agents, and custom logic using production data. This role involves turning real-world insights into product improvements while automating deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines, agents, and custom logic in customer production environments.
• Own the technical side of deployments including extraction, mapping, validation, and enrichment.
• Run data workshops with key users and debug alongside customer IT teams.
• Document patterns from customer deployments to push improvements to the core product.
• Automate deployment steps by building and proving the efficacy of agents.
• Collaborate with Solution Engineering and Customer Value teams to ensure a unified customer experience.
