Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our CPE Platform vertical within Core Products and Experiences. You will contribute to a multidisciplinary team building reliable, engaging products for millions of players while developing your engineering skills and technical confidence.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of our Session Management team to build and improve backend services.
• Write clear, maintainable backend code using Java or similar languages.
• Build and improve APIs, services and database-backed functionality.
• Test changes and improve service reliability, observability and supportability.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, planning sessions and team ceremonies.
• Investigate bugs and support issues to understand root causes.
• Maintain documentation to support service understanding and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers, product partners and stakeholders to improve system performance.
