About the role

Share is building a global marketplace for bandwidth and requires a Network Operations Engineer to manage their infrastructure during overnight shifts. You will monitor the network, resolve faults, and contribute to building an AI-assisted operations environment. The role balances real-time troubleshooting with proactive network maintenance and automation development.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the network using Zabbix, Grafana, and flow telemetry to identify and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot and localize faults, including BGP session drops, latency issues, and capacity thresholds.
  • Perform proactive network health checks and ensure proper route propagation and RPKI/filter chain integrity.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools to reduce repetitive tasks and improve configuration management.
  • Manage configuration changes through Git and maintain the accuracy of the network source of truth.
  • Provide clear, accurate incident reporting and handovers for the team.
