Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Redpanda is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic customers and build production-grade agents, integrations, and data pipelines on the Redpanda Agentic Data Plane. This role involves working directly within customer environments to deliver technical outcomes, ensuring solutions are maintainable and well-documented for long-term success. You will act as the primary technical partner for customer engineering teams, driving projects from design to production handoff.

Responsibilities

• Build production-quality agents, integrations, and data pipelines within customer environments.
• Adapt quickly to unfamiliar codebases and data constraints to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Own the technical deliverable, including design, implementation, documentation, and production handoff.
• Collaborate daily with customer engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and build trust.
• Train customer teams on delivered solutions to ensure long-term maintainability and independence.
• Identify patterns across customer engagements and provide feedback to internal Product and Engineering teams.
