About the role
Metaki is developing a Large Engineering Model that uses graph-neural-network surrogates to predict how complex 3D parts respond to physical conditions, aiming to replace traditional finite element simulation. The company is seeking a technical co-founder to lead the scaling of their modeling and engineering infrastructure while supporting fundraising and industrial pilot partnerships. This role involves taking ownership of the technical architecture and transitioning research pipelines into production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Co-own the neural-network surrogate modeling pipeline including GNN training and fast inference.
- Scale the large 3D simulation dataset and physics-informed training infrastructure.
- Take technical ownership of architecture, ML engineering, and data pipeline decisions.
- Turn early industry discussions into validated industrial pilots by making the model production-ready.
- Support funding applications and strategic introductions with a technical narrative and roadmap.
