About the role
The Venture Café Global Institute seeks a strategic and dynamic Director to lead Venture Café London in the heart of the Knowledge Quarter. This role involves operating and growing a hub for Deeptech innovation and connection, while leading the local team and directing programming for the weekly Thursday Gathering. The Director will act as a spokesperson and advocate to build a diverse and inclusive community of innovators.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with VCGI and ARIA to implement and refine the strategy for Venture Café London.
- Scoping and securing financial partners and building a pipeline for funding opportunities.
- Developing a rolling programming strategy to inspire and connect the local innovation community.
- Identifying and partnering with local ecosystem leaders to build diverse and inclusive programs.
- Leading and overseeing strategic planning, impact measurement, and program budget.
- Leading and coaching three direct reports towards success.
