Engineering Manager - 3P and Catalog

About the role

Gopuff is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Catalog and Partner Integrations teams. This role involves a combination of hands-on engineering and people management to build authoritative platforms for product data and partner integrations. The manager will influence Gopuff-wide architecture while fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the teams responsible for Gopuff’s third-party integrations and core catalog and pricing platforms, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and accountable engineering culture.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Scope, decompose, and organize projects for multiple teammates, delegating tasks to bring projects to completion with minimal oversight.
• Lead delivery planning by managing dependencies, identifying risks, and communicating timelines and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team performance to ensure deliverables are met on schedule.
• Provide clear technical direction and support for the successful execution of data platform projects.
• Drive continuous improvement through professional development, performance management, and hiring practices.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions while overseeing operational support for distributed applications.
