Engineering Manager - 3P and Catalog

About the role

Gopuff is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Catalog and Partner Integrations teams. This role involves a combination of hands-on engineering and people management to build platforms for product data, pricing, and partner integrations. The manager will influence architecture and lead teams to ensure products are accurately represented and fulfillable across channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the teams responsible for Gopuff’s third-party integrations and core catalog and pricing platforms, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and accountable engineering culture.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Scope, decompose, and organize projects for multiple teammates, delegating tasks to bring projects to completion.
• Lead delivery planning by managing dependencies, identifying risks, and communicating timelines and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team performance to ensure deliverables are met.
• Provide clear technical direction and support for the teams to ensure successful execution of data platform projects.
• Drive continuous improvement through professional development, performance management, and hiring.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions while overseeing operational support for distributed applications.

• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
