About the role
This sandwich year placement offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team developing innovative healthcare technologies. Interns will tackle real technical problems while receiving guidance from experienced engineers, contributing to the design and development of embedded software for medical systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for complex medical systems used in diagnostic, surgical, implantable device, and drug-delivery applications.
- Contribute to a wide range of projects that span the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary and supportive team, gaining exposure to systems involving electronics, optics, fluidics, robotics, and user-interface components.
- Work with industry best practices such as continuous integration, automated testing and analysis, and model-based systems engineering.
