About the role
Statista is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for Level 1 helpdesk requests across their global workforce. The role involves managing hardware, software, and workplace services while ensuring high-quality support and documentation. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous service improvement and support IT onboarding processes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for Level 1 tickets and ad-hoc helpdesk requests covering hardware, software, and workplace services.
- Take ownership of incoming requests from qualification through resolution or escalation.
- Identify recurring issues and report patterns to the Workplace Manager to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain self-service resources such as knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and FAQs.
- Collaborate with Tech Ops and DWO team members on escalations and knowledge transfer.
- Support end-to-end IT onboarding for new colleagues and contribute to cross-team infrastructure projects.
