Engineering Lead

About the role

The Engineering Lead for the Acquisition team will co-lead with a Product Manager to own delivery, technical quality, and operational reliability. This role involves shipping production code while providing technical coaching and leadership to engineers to drive growth. You will also shape the team's use of AI tools and coding agents to improve development speed and maintain high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team building products that directly drive company growth.
• Own delivery and technical quality for the Acquisition team, working with the PM to ship features.
• Write high-quality, well-tested TypeScript and own end-to-end delivery to production.
• Partner with product to translate business goals into clear technical scope, success metrics, and delivery plans.
• Coach and mentor engineers to raise standards and share ownership of technical direction.
• Drive improvements to developer experience, CI/CD, observability, and release practices.
• Make pragmatic trade-offs balancing reliability, performance, and cost across AWS services.
