About the role
The Director of Technical Programme Management will lead Zilch's most critical cross-functional technical programmes and build the company's TPM capability. This role focuses on strategic execution, organisational development, and cultural leadership to turn ambitious priorities into business outcomes. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Architecture leaders to drive clarity, alignment, and high-performing delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead Zilch's most complex, business-critical technical programmes across multiple teams, systems and functions.
- Translate company and technology priorities into clear outcomes, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies and measures of success.
- Bring structure to problems where the solution, technical approach or route to delivery is not yet obvious.
- Drive clarity on priorities and trade-offs to provide leaders with a reliable view of delivery timelines and risks.
- Build a high-trust culture where teams move quickly, own their outcomes and stay focused as priorities change.
- Empower teams to decide by setting clear ownership while preserving autonomy.
- Lead by example in making reversible decisions quickly and adapting as you go.
- Align Product and Engineering around shared outcomes, optimising for the business as a whole.
