Business Development Director

About the role

The Business Development Director will be responsible for opening doors with enterprise brands across Germany and Europe to secure new signage contracts. This is a new business role focused on building a pipeline from scratch, managing complex multi-stakeholder negotiations, and handing off signed projects to an internal delivery team. The role requires a structured hunter mentality to drive growth through new accounts and repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new enterprise brand accounts across Germany and Europe, from first outreach through to signed contract
• Build and own relationships with Heads of Brand, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and senior marketing leaders
• Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes involving marketing, retail operations, and procurement
• Scope complex signage projects with clients and brief the internal delivery team clearly from day one
• Lead tenders, RFPs, pricing negotiations, and framework agreements
• Grow accounts over time through repeat orders, upsell, and multi-location rollouts
• Represent the company at selected trade fairs and industry events

Qualifications
