About the role

Laelaps AI is seeking a dedicated engineer to own the reliability and test infrastructure for their autonomous security robots. You will be responsible for the entire release pipeline, from commit to deployment, ensuring that every code change is rigorously validated through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and automated regression suites. This role is critical to maintaining the safety and performance of robots operating in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the release pipeline with explicit pass criteria at every gate.
  • Build and manage GPU-backed simulation environments for continuous testing.
  • Develop scenario libraries and regression suites covering the full on-robot stack.
  • Implement hardware-in-the-loop bench rigs and test procedures.
  • Create failure injection protocols to verify system degradation and recovery.
  • Convert field incidents into deterministic regression tests.
