Senior Backend Engineer II, Engineering Experience

About the role

The Engineering Experience domain builds the tools, platforms, and golden paths that the rest of Vinted Engineering relies on daily. As a Senior Backend Engineer II, you will join either the CI/CD or Development Environments & AI team to design and implement solutions that improve developer productivity, integration, and delivery. You will own your solutions end-to-end and drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Explore and adopt AI-assisted approaches to improve the efficiency and quality of the software development life cycle
• Design, build, and own tools, services, and frameworks that make development and delivery fast and reliable
• Optimize the codebase to work effectively with coding agents by establishing conventions and scaffolding
• Build tooling and processes to handle complex engineering challenges such as pull request review loads and AI-assisted merge pipelines
• Improve environments and pipelines to enable rapid validation of changes
• Influence technical direction and mentor other engineers to drive best practices
