About the role
The Staff System Architect will lead the technical architecture and roadmap for the next-generation rack-mountable SNSPD platform. This role involves defining system structure, interfaces, and key architectural decisions while ensuring coherence across hardware, software, and integration domains. The architect will guide cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing cryogenic photon detection systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead system architecture, design decisions, and cross-functional alignment to ensure a scalable and high-performing SNSPD platform
- Drive technology roadmap, integration, and innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies
- Translate product requirements into clear system-level designs and specifications
- Define system structure, interfaces, and key architectural decisions
- Drive critical trade-offs across performance, cost, scalability, and integration
- Align engineering execution with the architectural vision and resolve complex cross-domain design challenges
