Senior Linux Distribution & Validation Engineer

About the role

You will build the Linux distribution foundation that powers Graphcore AI systems, turning upstream software into trusted platform releases. This role involves creating production-ready system images, building automated pipelines, and performing evidence-led validation. You will join a new, co-located engineering team focused on hands-on systems engineering and process development.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for engineering workflows
• Create, provision, and install Linux system images
• Run established Linux test suites and diagnose issues across build and validation flows
• Introduce controlled configuration and tuning changes with evidence-led validation
• Define reliable processes for a new team building critical platform infrastructure
