About the role

BetterHelp is seeking an Associate Director and Corporate Counsel to support its international expansion. This role involves managing a wide range of legal matters including contracts, privacy, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance as the company scales operations outside of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on a wide variety of legal issues related to international business and new market launches
  • Negotiate and draft product partnership, sales, marketing, and vendor agreements
  • Support privacy compliance including GDPR and local equivalents
  • Advise on marketing, digital services, consumer protection, and trade practices requirements
  • Support health and telehealth regulatory compliance in relevant markets
  • Manage employment and contractor legal matters in international markets
  • Support privacy operations and litigation matters as needed
