Senior Fraud & Risk Analyst

About the role

The Senior Fraud & Risk Analyst will strengthen fraud prevention and risk management capabilities by investigating and mitigating fraud patterns across user acquisition and transactions. This role involves designing detection rules, supporting the Fraud Analytics Team Lead on strategic initiatives, and partnering cross-functionally to improve detection systems. The position requires a proactive individual capable of analyzing large datasets and driving risk initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and mitigate fraud patterns across user acquisition, transactions, and account activity.
• Design and refine fraud detection rules, heuristics, and monitoring dashboards to catch emerging abuse patterns early.
• Support the Fraud Analytics Team Lead in planning and executing risk initiatives.
• Act as a reliable second-in-command on risk management matters, including stakeholder updates and decision-making.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, and support teams to close fraud gaps.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, quantify fraud exposure, and report findings to leadership.
• Document policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for fraud and risk workflows.
