Mobile Team Tech Lead

About the role

Lab49 is seeking a Mobile Team Tech Lead to design and deliver innovative mobile applications for tier-one financial clients. You will lead technical direction, guide architectural decisions, and mentor engineering teams while working directly with stakeholders to modernize consumer banking experiences. This hands-on leadership role requires a balance of high-level system design and active contribution to software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, deliver, and test innovative iOS and Android applications.
• Actively contribute to the adoption of strong software architecture and engineering best practices.
• Lead the development of new mobile capabilities for consumer banking.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, designers, and product partners to ensure technical alignment.
• Mentor engineers to improve their autonomy and effectiveness.
• Proactively address project risks to ensure high-quality delivery.
