About the role

Laelaps AI is building intelligent software to power physical security through robotics and autonomous systems. As a frontend engineer, you will design and build the Command Centre interface used by operators to monitor sites, triage alerts, and task robot fleets. This role combines engineering and design, requiring you to prototype flows, test with users, and ship production-ready code for data-heavy, real-time applications.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the operator interface for live video, site maps, and robot alerts
  • Develop workflows for alert triage and decision-making processes
  • Create interfaces for natural language fleet tasking
  • Develop and maintain a consistent design system
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate based on operator feedback
  • Optimize performance for real-time data streams and complex dashboards
