About the role
As a Data / Software Engineer, you will own the end-to-end data pipelines and tooling supporting autonomous defence systems. You will design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures to capture, process, and analyze complex telemetry, sensor, and video data across multiple product lines. By automating data flows and creating high-performance internal tools, you will enable rapid decision-making, testing, and continuous deployment across all engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines for real-time ingestion and processing of telemetry, sensor, and video data.
- Develop robust automation frameworks and internal tooling to stream data workflows across cross-functional STARK programs.
- Architect cloud infrastructure and data storage solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP to ensure high availability and low latency.
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineering teams to define data models, interface specs, and telemetry schemas.
- Optimize data processing pipelines for high throughput, memory efficiency, and sub-second execution in mission-critical environments.
- Implement comprehensive data quality, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively detect anomalies and operational issues.
- Maintain rigorous software engineering standards, including unit testing, CI/CD practices, and clear technical documentation.
