Legal / Compliance Consultant - Trade Compliance, Export Control

About the role

Axiom is seeking a Legal or Compliance Consultant to provide ongoing support to a global client regarding trade compliance and export controls. The role involves interpreting complex regulations, supporting the regionalization of compliance programs, and mentoring personnel across the APAC region.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on global trade compliance with a focus on export controls, product classification (ECCN), licensing, and permitting requirements
• Analyze and interpret complex trade regulations and apply them to business operations across APAC
• Support the regionalization of global trade compliance programs, including restricted party screening, customer due diligence, and end-use/end-user reviews
• Train, mentor, and support trade compliance personnel across Greater China and the broader APAC region
