About the role

The Head of Business Development (Training) is responsible for driving sustainable, quality revenue growth across the Baines Simmons training portfolio. This role leads sales execution, pipeline management, and client engagement activities to ensure training offerings are effectively positioned in the market and aligned with strategic growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the training business development strategy to achieve revenue growth targets
• Drive new business acquisition and expand existing client accounts across global aviation markets
• Manage and develop the Academy and In-Company sales team, including performance, coaching, and capability building
• Own the full sales lifecycle, ensuring robust pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and conversion performance
• Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to align training offerings with market demand and client needs
• Develop and implement pricing, packaging, and commercial propositions to maximise market competitiveness
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems to increase velocity and quality
