Manager, Fund Administration

About the role

This role oversees fund administration services, including fund accounting and reporting, for Private Equity, Real Estate, and Real Estate Loan Fund customers. The manager will lead a team of fund accountants, drive operational improvements, and help shape the function's trajectory within a growing initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic decisions regarding team buildout and operational policies and procedures
• Develop and improve fund administration workflows and process efficiencies
• Identify product development opportunities and provide technical feedback to product teams
• Hire, train, and manage a team of fund accountants
• Interface directly with clients to deliver an outstanding client experience
• Serve as a technical accounting expert and advisor on business and accounting decisions
• Review accounting, analytical, and financial reporting duties
• Oversee annual audits, including review of audit reports, schedules, and disclosures

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity, venture capital, real estate, and/or real estate loan funds
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
