Senior Backend Engineer - Team Atlas

About the role

Taktile is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join Team Atlas, a high-ownership team focused on the data infrastructure powering their feature computation platform. You will own critical systems end-to-end, making key architectural decisions and building backend services that handle real production traffic for enterprise customers in banking and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate backend services in Python on AWS including Lambda, DynamoDB, and Aurora.
• Develop event-driven pipelines that handle real production traffic.
• Own systems end-to-end from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Make key architectural decisions and defend trade-offs.
• Raise the bar for the team through code reviews, mentoring, and process improvements.
• Collaborate directly with Product and Design teams to shape future product development.
