About the role
The Technical Lead for Observability will own the strategy, technical design, and rollout of observability across the entire stack at H. This hands-on leadership role involves setting technical direction, building observability systems, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective measurement and visibility. The work will directly support the company's development of computer-use agents by providing critical insights into system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Set a unified observability strategy applicable across all teams and technical stacks.
- Own the implementation of systems for metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards.
- Define SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs in collaboration with product, research, and infrastructure teams.
- Build end-to-end visibility of system dependencies and provide visualizations for users and agents.
- Automate the tracking of coverage, reliability, alert quality, and execution costs.
