About the role

As a senior software engineer on the UK engineering team, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of new tools and products from incubation to production. You will work closely with product managers and customers to translate requirements into technical solutions while mentoring junior team members. The role involves a mix of field work integrating with customer platforms and office-based development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of new tools and products, taking them through from incubation all the way to production
  • Spot the ineffectiveness of the processes and code you work with daily to ensure the team are always working to the best of their abilities
  • Integrate software from customers and other teams into the products we are making
  • Write, test, and debug efficient modern C++ code for complex software solutions with the help of AI tooling
  • Work closely with product managers and customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Train and mentor junior engineers as we grow the UK team, fostering a culture of learning and improvement
  • Build awesome software that you are proud of
