Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of connected solutions across embedded, IoT, mobile, and web platforms. You will take ownership of QA processes, combining manual testing with automation to deliver dependable products. By analyzing system architectures and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help identify risks and improve testing efficiency throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of QA processes within the team and champion quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Analyze end-to-end system architectures, user flows and integrations to identify risks and gaps in test coverage.
• Create clear and concise test plans based on product and technical requirements and document them in TestRail.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, API, integration and cross-platform testing.
• Contribute to automation frameworks by designing and implementing new automated tests and maintaining existing test suites.
• Perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing where it adds value.
• Configure and maintain dedicated test environments and test data and support performance and load testing when required.
• Share findings transparently, raise risks early and collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
