About the role
The Performance and Data Engineer will analyze the performance of wind, photovoltaic, and storage power plants to ensure data reliability and operational efficiency. This role involves managing SCADA systems, automating dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize project profitability. The position requires a balance of office-based data analysis and field-based site visits.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Asset Managers to monitor and analyze the performance of wind, solar, and storage assets.
- Ensure data integrity, analyze performance metrics, and maintain automated dashboards for stakeholders.
- Administer databases and utilize MySQL and Power BI tools for data management.
- Manage SCADA history, supervise systems and networks, and perform diagnostics to detect and correct anomalies.
- Serve as the technical reference for SCADA and operational management of energy installations.
- Monitor contractual obligations of the SCADA service provider and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
