About the role

MicroAGI is building the data layer for physical AI by designing and building hardware to capture data in the physical world. As an Electrical Engineer, you will own the hardware development process end to end, from sensor selection and PCB design to firmware development. Your work ensures that the data provided to the machine learning team is clean, synchronized, and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and integrate hardware including sensors, motion-capture rigs, custom IoT setups, and prototype robots.
  • Own the firmware and embedded-software layer for real-time data collection, multi-sensor synchronization, calibration, and time-stamping.
  • Specify and select sensors and compute components for new hardware projects while balancing physical constraints with ML requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with ML engineers to ensure hardware delivers high-quality training data.
  • Prototype rapidly from bench builds and custom rigs to working devices.
