Graduate Design Engineer - Healthcare

About the role

This role involves working within a multifunctional team to create breakthrough physical and digital products, primarily for the healthcare sector. You will contribute to development projects from initial idea generation through to manufacturing support, while receiving mentorship from experienced designers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in concept generation and problem-solving workshops
• Create clear and impactful presentations to convey ideas to clients and development teams
• Prepare designs at a range of fidelities from sketches to detailed 3D renders or animations
• Manufacture prototypes, hands-on or by liaising with suppliers
• Evaluate user needs and designs at user studies
• Share your skills and experience with the wider design team whilst also receiving mentorship from experienced designers

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or a related design discipline
