This role involves taking ownership of projects from initial concept through to field deployment and testing.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve object detection and multi-object tracking for autonomous platforms.
- Develop semantic segmentation and depth estimation to provide a reliable view of the scene.
- Prepare datasets, train models, and evaluate approaches based on measured results.
- Extend evaluation and replay tooling to validate improvements on recorded data.
- Optimize models for real-time deployment on onboard compute hardware.
- Analyze mission logs and reproduce failures to resolve root causes for field performance.
- Write clean, tested production code and participate in peer code reviews.
