About the role
The Computer Vision Engineer will develop and enhance algorithms for cricket tracking systems, including ball and player tracking. Working within the Cricket value stream, the role involves improving the accuracy and performance of multi-camera systems used in live sporting environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and optimize systems for real-time reliability.
Responsibilities
- Developing and improving computer vision algorithms for cricket tracking systems.
- Building and enhancing ball and player tracking solutions using multi-camera technology.
- Contributing to multi-view geometry solutions to improve tracking accuracy.
- Solving challenging problems around occlusion, recovery, and object tracking.
- Optimising algorithms for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Enhancing mature computer vision systems already used in live production environments.
- Investigating and resolving algorithmic accuracy and performance issues.
- Collaborating with engineers across computer vision, software, and platform teams.
