Direct Tax Lead

About the role

ElevenLabs is seeking a Direct Tax Lead to manage US income tax provision, compliance, and controls. This hands-on role involves overseeing external tax providers, managing the ASC 740 provision, and ensuring accurate federal and state tax reporting for a rapidly growing multinational organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly and annual ASC 740 provisions including deferreds, valuation allowance, and footnote disclosures.
• Oversee the US federal and state compliance calendar including returns, extensions, and estimated payments.
• Design, document, and operate tax controls and write technical memos to support tax positions.
• Manage engagements with Big 4 advisors and external auditors.
• Track technical tax items such as 174 capitalization and 382 NOL tracking.
