Quality Engineer

About the role

Lupa is seeking a Quality Engineer to own the end-to-end testing process for a product area within our AI-native veterinary platform. You will work directly with developers to define testing strategies, automate workflows, and ensure smooth releases. This role offers the opportunity to help build our QE function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own the end to end testing process for your product area alongside dev, from drafting BDD scenarios and acceptance criteria all the way through to release
• Decide what gets automated and build it
• Review AI drafted tests and catch flaky tests or visual regressions before they reach merge
• Run smoke tests and exploratory testing at release and be accountable for releases going out smoothly
• Work directly with engineers from the start of a feature
• Help shape how the QE function works as we build it from scratch

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a QE, SDET, or software engineering role
