Product Engineer, Finance

About the role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will shape the future of Airwallex’s Finance team by acting as the architect of the Finance systems landscape. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution, requiring you to diagnose gaps, design target states, and build solutions. You will own the end-to-end technical and product ownership, functioning as both a Product Manager and a lead engineer.

Responsibilities

• Embed deeply with the global Finance teams, understanding their needs to identify the highest impact use cases
• Define and own the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for Finance
• Own technical delivery from prototype to production
• Codify working patterns into building blocks that others can use
• Lead change management and upskilling initiatives to enable adoption of new tools
• Track, measure and communicate the outcomes of your work, ensuring accountability
